ROAD BIKING
- March 1:
NEW YORK CYCLE CLUB SIG (Special Interest Group) Rides.
The SIG rider development program is a 12-week series of
rides featuring top instructors from the NY area. The
goal of SIG rides is to help "B" level cyclists
become "A" level cyclists. The NYCC also has a
SIG series geared towards "C" riders. For

The 20th Annual Bike NY: Great Five Boro Bike Tour.
Hostelling International - AYH presents this bike tour
through the streets of NYC. This is the largest mass
cycling event of its kind, drawing nearly 25,000
participants annually. 42 miles in all, 8AM start. Call

Montauk Century. Presented by the Five Boruough Bicycle
Club. Known as New York's flattest century, most of the
route hugs the south shore of Long Island. There are
starting points in Manhattan, Queens and Mineola. Call

Washington DC AIDS Ride presented by Tanqueray, North
Carolina to Washington, DC. Four days, 350 miles to
benefit HIV/AIDS services at Food & Friends and
